The Board of Directors of the Friends of Music Association, which is managed by the Endowment of Alexandra Trianti-Kyriakidis, announces two total scholarships for the completion of Master’s level studies at a recognized Music School abroad during the academic year 2022-2023, in the majors of Viola and Piano. The duration of the scholarships cannot exceed three years and the Board of Directors is the only one competent to decide on this.
The selection of the scholarship holders will be made by decision of the Board of Directors. of the Association and in accordance with the provisions of the chapter of independent management of the Legacy (Pr. Decree no. 2, F.E.K. B’ 641/26.8.1993), i.e. after hearing the candidates by a Committee of distinguished experts, as regards the exceptional talent and the suitability of the School where they are going to study.
The Board of Directors of the Association decides on the awarding of the scholarships, after taking into account the opinion of the above Committee regarding the evaluation of the candidates as well as their other supporting documents. The Board of Directors may not grant a scholarship if it considers that none of the candidates meet the necessary conditions. The amount of each annual scholarship cannot exceed the amount of 12,000 euros.
The deadline within which interested parties will submit their applications amounts to 45 days from the publication of the announcement (ie until May 6, 2022).
