In accordance with its statutory purposes, the Society carries out predominantly educational work, with emphasis on awarding scholarships and financial aid to young talented artists to perfect their studies and to specialist scientists to carry out research and studies in the field of culture.
Thanks to the bequest of Alexandra Trianti and the donation of Yannis Horn in memory of actress Kyveli, the Society awards after a competition the Alexandra Trianti Scholarships and the Kyveli – Yannis Horn Scholarships to selected specialties.
Supporting two similar organisations with which it maintains historical ties, the Society also hosts the organisation of the Lyrical Song Competition awarded by the Maria Callas Scholarships Association and the Spanish Foundation World in Harmony’s Gina Bachauer Awards.
